After having played for 2 minutes, Adolf Eichmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolf Eichmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yerko Courtois made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Asmus Molbo sent off a good shot on target. After 5 played minutes Asmus Molbo rounded U21 Chile's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 8thth minute of the game Lukas Elfoss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Chile's Yerko Courtois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 minutes U21 Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Asmus Molbo who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice moves Asmus Molbo could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Yerko Courtois however easily saved by the left post. U21 Denmark's Einar Klysnov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Eichmann in the 25th minute of play. Einar Klysnov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Eichmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Adolf Eichmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 36 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Tobías Jarpa. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Lukas Elfoss took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Yerko Courtois to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolf Eichmann was the one to do the kick off. Adolf Eichmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Einar Klysnov made a huge save. Yerko Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Elfoss in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of U21 Denmark booed when U21 Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manuel Hernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 Denmark made a substitution. Eg Flensburg replaced Haakon Grenholt. U21 Chile's Hipolito Fritz was substituted for Marcelino Calzada. After a rather tough play, U21 Chile's Jose Manuel Hernández got a free kick in the 59th minute. Yerko Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Løndov in the 63rd minute of play. Yerko Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asmus Molbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Hipolito Fritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Klysnov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 94th minute, but Einar Klysnov got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving U21 Denmark hanging dry this time. In the 96th minute U21 Chile were awarded a corner. Vicente Calderón went to the cornerflag to take it. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Denmark.
