Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vivaldo Loureiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Roberto Oliveira came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Cachoeirinha's Frederico Gomes. But to his dismay, Frederico Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Dorival Veloso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Dorival Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the S.E. Cachoeirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival Veloso couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Elder Luz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 19 minutes, Vânderson de Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SeleSantos FC and the S.E. Cachoeirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Vânderson de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vivaldo Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Betão de Amaral made a huge save. Víktor Castro scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Frederico Gomes sped through SeleSantos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Oliveira. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Gomes to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Freitas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vânderson de Moraes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Veloso got free with Roberto Oliveira in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Frederico Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. SeleSantos FC's Roberto Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SeleSantos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Frederico Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Loureiro in the 65th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dorival Veloso hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes, SeleSantos FC's Vânderson de Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Betão de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SeleSantos FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Frederico Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Oliveira came out of the goal and Frederico Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorival Veloso. José Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Joaquim Freitas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Oliveira. SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roberto Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Gomes's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Gomes in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Gomes in the 92nd minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Dorival Veloso sent off a good shot on target. The S.E. Cachoeirinha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
