But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Piarres couldn't finish the play. Baldomiro Vincente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Czeslaw Debkowski went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Czeslaw Debkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czeslaw Debkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Baldomiro Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Vincente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Dubilas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Jaroszewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Baldomiro Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Nasta in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Ilie Nasta made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Messi Dream Team's Baldomiro Vincente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Vincente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Dubilas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Czeslaw Debkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Iwan Milko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Baldomiro Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilie Nasta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Messi Dream Team's Baldomiro Vincente got control of the ball when Alan Butler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomiro Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Butler in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Motowski. After some careless play in the Messi Dream Team defense, Alan Butler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Vincente. The Messi Dream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Vincente should have stopped the shot. Messi Dream Team's Baldomiro Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Butler in the 66th minute of play. Baldomiro Vincente made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ilie Nasta sent off a good shot on target. If Ilie Nasta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Motowski in the 73rd minute of play forced Messi Dream Team's goalkeeper Baldomiro Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's Alan Butler was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baldomiro Vincente in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Michal Dubilas fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW's protests and gave Michal Dubilas a yellow card for diving instead. Michal Dubilas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Honesto in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Jaroszewicz saved CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW from getting behind. Baldomiro Vincente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Butler in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Messi Dream Team's goalkeeper Baldomiro Vincente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilie Nasta. CAFE FUTBOL TCZEW played a much better game than Messi Dream Team and deserved their victory. The Messi Dream Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
