When Umbrella Corporation's Fabinho Pitta in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SeleSantos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fabinho Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roberto Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Pitta in the 12th minute of play. Fabinho Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Fabinho Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Umbrella Corporation fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabinho Pitta couldn't finish the play. Roberto Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Pitta in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Vivaldo Loureiro made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Capixaba. Umbrella Corporation's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fabinho Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Fabinho Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbrella Corporation's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabinho Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho Pitta in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Oliveira saved SeleSantos FC from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Romário Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabinho Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Umbrella Corporation fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabinho Pitta couldn't finish the play. In the 38th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho Pitta in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Oliveira saved SeleSantos FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Fabinho Pitta put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Oliveira.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho Pitta to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Adrianinho Catarinense got a free kick in the 50th minute. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Marcelinho Coelho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Roberto Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabinho Pitta's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 65th minute Romário Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joélson Senna fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umbrella Corporation's protests and gave Joélson Senna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Joélson Senna hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Loureiro came free, but Leonardo Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 played minutes Abelardo de Moraes rounded Umbrella Corporation's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Roberto Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário Peres went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Luís Fábio Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Leonardo Capixaba made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Vivaldo Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Pitta in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Umbrella Corporation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Pitta to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the SeleSantos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Umbrella Corporation.
