Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Frederico Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serbia y Mantonegro the free kick. After 7 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Gomes. 9 minutes into the game, Emanuel Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serbia y Mantonegro the free kick. In the 9th minute, Emanuel Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, German Beltran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serbia y Mantonegro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Centurión in the 13th minute of the match. Serbia y Mantonegro's Astor Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Serbia y Mantonegro from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Besart Chotard was slow to take the kick. During this time Serbia y Mantonegro's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Serbia y Mantonegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serbia y Mantonegro's Ricky Centurión got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when German Beltran came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes, Elias Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E. Cachoeirinha and the Serbia y Mantonegro players grew even worse after the yellow card.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederico Gomes was the one to do the kick off. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Centurión in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ricky Centurión got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Betão de Amaral managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Serbia y Mantonegro's German Beltran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Besart Chotard made a great header on Serbia y Mantonegro's corner, it was just that S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral managed to reach the ball for a save. Edinho Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edinho Mello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Mello to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Besart Chotard hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ricky Centurión's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão de Amaral was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Zé Recife got a free kick in the 81st minute. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Centurión in the 83rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Serbia y Mantonegro's German Beltran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betão de Amaral. That made the score 0-6 after 84 minutes of play. Serbia y Mantonegro's Ricky Centurión got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Edinho Mello got a free kick in the 96th minute. Serbia y Mantonegro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
