Gilberto Liher was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, ArrancaCerebroS AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Liher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Piarres. Messi Dream Team's Baldomiro Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lauaxeta in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, ArrancaCerebroS AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Bernad came free, but Gilberto Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Vincente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Santos Cristofol notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Messi Dream Team's Baldomiro Vincente. Baldomiro Vincente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Messi Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Lauaxeta came free, but Baldomiro Vincente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Vincente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Cristofol went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gilberto Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 25 minutes, Norberto Bartolome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ArrancaCerebroS AFC and the Messi Dream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Norberto Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Vincente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Bartolome in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Messi Dream Team getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Benicio Bernad hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Cristofol in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Vincente saved Messi Dream Team from getting behind. Baldomiro Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Lauaxeta in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Bernad in the 38th minute of play forced ArrancaCerebroS AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ArrancaCerebroS AFC's Gilberto Liher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save ArrancaCerebroS AFC from getting a goal against them. If Martin Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Lauaxeta to make the kick off. The supporters of ArrancaCerebroS AFC booed when Messi Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jonas Goito in the 52nd minute really tested Baldomiro Vincente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Baldomiro Vincente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Cristofol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Vincente made a huge save. Baldomiro Vincente was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Emiliano Lauaxeta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emiliano Lauaxeta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When Benicio Bernad fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Messi Dream Team's protests and gave Benicio Bernad a yellow card for diving instead. Emiliano Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Vincente having to interfere. Gilberto Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Bernad, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes, Jose Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ArrancaCerebroS AFC and the Messi Dream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerardo Piarres took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Liher. Gilberto Liher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Emiliano Lauaxeta hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gilberto Liher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benicio Bernad went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. ArrancaCerebroS AFC's Gilberto Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Bernad in the 90th minute of play. Gilberto Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Piarres in the 91st minute of the match. Emiliano Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Messi Dream Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ArrancaCerebroS AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
