After 4 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Elias Vianna. After having played for 5 minutes, Diego Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patadura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Txurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes, Filipe de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E. Cachoeirinha and the Patadura FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Filipe de Souza. After 15 minutes, Agustin Lizer made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Txurio in the 20th minute of the match. When S.E. Cachoeirinha's Frederico Gomes in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jano França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jano França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Veloso in the 28th minute of play. Betão de Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Quintan's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Diego Txurio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Betão de Amaral firmly grabbed it by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Diego Txurio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Vergaray in the 52nd minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Patadura FC were awarded a corner. Saverio Havier went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Patadura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes, Patadura FC's Saverio Havier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Betão de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patadura FC reached it. 61 minutes into the game, Elder Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jano França was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Quintan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the S.E. Cachoeirinha defense, Cristian Quintan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão de Amaral. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão de Amaral should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Tiburcio Vergaray sped through S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão de Amaral. 72 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Lizer came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Elias Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Lizer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betão de Amaral. S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diego Txurio was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 80 played minutes Patadura FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Txurio. Dorival Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Tiburcio Vergaray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Elder Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano França having to interfere.
