In the 4th minute Nemesio Isusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fidel Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Isusko in the 7th minute of play forced &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Fidel Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Kasper Ververs in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pendex's Roberto Eleazar. Edgar Asserlindh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ruperto Nayely made a huge save. Ruperto Nayely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Ververs in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Bembe in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Teofilio saved &La vieja Guardia& from getting behind. Saul Bembe took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Teofilio. Fidel Teofilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fidel Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Sayvion in the 26th minute of the match. Bruno Isusko kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Abel Antonio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Teofilio skillfully saved the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Ververs came free, but Ruperto Nayely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Isusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of &La vieja Guardia& booed when Pendex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Elixio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Asserlindh hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes, Pendex's Filomeno Sayvion shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fidel Teofilio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pendex reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Nisio to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Isusko came free, but Fidel Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pendex made a substitution. Gogo Crescencio replaced Nemesio Isusko. Pendex's Ryan Keuppens was substituted for Saul Bembe. Pendex made a substitution. David Šácha replaced Rafael Nisio. David Šácha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Fidel Teofilio made a huge save. The throw-in from Natalio Elixio in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by &La vieja Guardia&'s Alvaro Arotza. Kasper Ververs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Nayely read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Pendex booed when &La vieja Guardia& was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Teofilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Šácha's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Pendex got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Sayvion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Ververs in the 87th minute of play forced Pendex's goalkeeper Ruperto Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Crescencio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fidel Teofilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendex. In the 91st minute, &La vieja Guardia&'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Šácha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, &La vieja Guardia&'s Fidel Teofilio got control of the ball when David Šácha tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pendex walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
