Neville Peach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Nordstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Argi made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ed Mckinley sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Amputees FC defense, Bror Nordstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neville Peach. The Amputees FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neville Peach should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Bror Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neville Peach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Nordstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Bror Nordstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 25th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Neville Peach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bror Nordstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neville Peach was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Amputees FC's zone, Bror Nordstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bror Nordstedt in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neville Peach saved Amputees FC from getting behind. Neville Peach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Calvin Fynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Dark Prophets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriel Ba Loua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neville Peach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Ping Yi in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bror Nordstedt in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neville Peach saved Amputees FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 47th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Neville Peach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Bror Nordstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dark Prophets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Dark Prophets were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Carleton Howie made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's Bror Nordstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neville Peach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adriel Ba Loua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Neville Peach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Bror Nordstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Prophets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Nordstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ed Mckinley struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Geronimo Argi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amputees FC. In the 65thth minute of the game Bror Nordstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Neville Peach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Dark Prophets got a corner. Amputees FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabin Verzeanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Amputees FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lauder Franklin hit a great ball. After 69 minutes of play, Dark Prophets's Bror Nordstedt made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Neville Peach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neville Peach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bror Nordstedt's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Marcus Roach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Argi having to interfere. Bror Nordstedts short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Neville Peach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bror Nordstedt had several of the Amputees FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Neville Peach as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eduard Trifan came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Neville Peach could save by the left post. Bror Nordstedts short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Neville Peach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 89th minute, Dark Prophets's Bror Nordstedt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Amputees FC's Neville Peach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriel Ba Loua in the 91st minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neville Peach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Dark Prophets could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Amputees FC throughout the match.
