Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Nisio in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Frey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Nisio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Frey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Sugoi in the 11th minute of play forced Real Murçia FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Antonio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Real Murçia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Isusko came free, but Sebastian Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Nemesio Isusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pendex's Rafael Nisio in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pendex's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Nisio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Frey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Fiori came free, but Ruperto Nayely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sebastian Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Real Murçia FC booed when Pendex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Nisio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Frey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Pendex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson de Brito to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Nisio to make the kick off. Sebastian Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Sugoi in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Murçia FC's Johannes Keller got a free kick in the 55th minute. Abel Antonio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Frey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Carretero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Nayely was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Johannes Keller lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Pendex's David Šácha was substituted for Rafael Nisio. Enea Colasante hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Real Murçia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Eleazar came free, but Sebastian Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Roberto Eleazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Frey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Pendex getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Abel Antonio hit a great ball. Pendex's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
