Amputees FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Amato ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amputees FC's Neville Peach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Amputees FC from getting a goal against them. If Marteinn Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Docta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poz Maeztu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carleton Howie in the 24th minute of play forced Docta FC's goalkeeper Saul Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neville Peach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poz Maeztu in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Art Kidman. Carleton Howie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marteinn Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saul Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carleton Howie, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Docta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marteinn Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carleton Howie made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Docta FC's goalkeeper Saul Erauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carleton Howie. Poz Maeztu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poz Maeztu in the 54th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Neville Peach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Docta FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Saverio Atarratze hit a great ball. Poz Maeztu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Neville Peach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Docta FC. Docta FC's Marteinn Palermo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Docta FC's Honorio Santos was substituted for Donato Abecia. Docta FC's Máximo Perochena was substituted for Poz Maeztu. Neville Peach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Perochena in the 76th minute of the match. Saul Erauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berke Crampton in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Máximo Perochena in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neville Peach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Docta FC's Saul Erauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Docta FC from getting a goal against them. If Berke Crampton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
