The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Ezequiel Soter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the &La vieja Guardia& and the Dark Prophets players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dark Prophets booed when &La vieja Guardia& was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Soter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match, Eduard Trifan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fidel Teofilio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kang Han Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Argi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kang Han Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. Geronimo Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kang Han Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Kang Han Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bror Nordstedt got free with Fidel Teofilio in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Trifan in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kang Han Zhen in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Argi saved Dark Prophets from getting behind. Geronimo Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kang Han Zhen in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Dark Prophets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Verzeanu to maneuver through the defense. Kang Han Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute Eduard Trifan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Kang Han Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The &La vieja Guardia& fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 42nd minute Sabin Verzeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bror Nordstedt was the one to do the kick off. Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Nordstedt in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goal looked a bit too open when Kang Han Zhen came free, but Geronimo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dark Prophets had played much better football throughout.
