Marteinn Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Marteinn Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. Royal Antwerp FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marteinn Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Royal Antwerp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob de Pelsmaeker to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes, Docta FC's Jeremias Amato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bart-Jan Van De Beeck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Docta FC reached it. Saul Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaud Vrijdag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Azibar in the 12th minute of play forced Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Bart-Jan Van De Beeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Marteinn Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Docta FC were awarded a corner. Jeremias Amato went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Docta FC's Romeo Enekoitz to a score. 0-2 in the 15th minute. Docta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Amato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Marteinn Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Docta FC's Cristo Bilintx got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Poz Maeztu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Royal Antwerp FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Docta FC were winning 0-2.
The wind increased when Poz Maeztu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Willem-Jan Verhaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poz Maeztu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Docta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeremias Amato in the 61st minute. After taking down the ball on Docta FC's corner Jeremias Amato fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bart-Jan Van De Beeck quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Docta FC's Marteinn Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. Docta FC made a substitution. Máximo Perochena replaced Poz Maeztu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaud Vrijdag in the 71st minute of play forced Docta FC's goalkeeper Saul Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
