After 73 minutes, Abelardo Berriotxoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Diamante U18 and the El Kcaizer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Dario Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Florinio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Magdaleno got free with Damian Florinio in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Mario Chorche got a free kick in the 87th minute. Isidro Ignazio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the El Kcaizer FC defense, Sixto Magdaleno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Florinio. The El Kcaizer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Florinio should have stopped the shot. The Deportivo Diamante U18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Diamante U18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
