The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Inocencio Maurin scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Florinio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Ledesma was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Bruno Markel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Markel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Fernando Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Ledesma having to interfere. Jeremias Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Markel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to El Kcaizer FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Laureano Dolcet hit a great ball. Delmiro Maraman struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Damian Florinio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverzone. 25 minutes into the match, Fernando Maties had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Ledesma. Riverzone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Maties was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Fernando Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jeremias Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Maties got free with Jeremias Ledesma in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremias Ledesma made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Fernando Maties sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, El Kcaizer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Maurin came free, but Damian Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Riverzone's Jeremias Ledesma got control of the ball when Fernando Maties tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Riverzone's Rodrigo Transito made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Florinio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Inocencio Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Maties was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Ledesma having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, El Kcaizer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Markel to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riverzone's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damian Florinio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Maurin in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Riverzone's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremias Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Maties in the 65th minute of play. Damian Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, one of El Kcaizer FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fernando Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, El Kcaizer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Rioja to maneuver through the defense. El Kcaizer FC's Damian Florinio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save El Kcaizer FC from getting a goal against them. El Kcaizer FC's Fernando Maties got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jeremias Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Fernando Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Rodrigo Transito had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Gaizkine during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Riverzone booed when El Kcaizer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Florinio made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Inocencio Maurin sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Riverzone had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
