After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Eustaquio Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Omero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Wagemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Fonso kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Mathijs Van der Willeghem in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Hornos's Humberto Iyan.
