Deportivo Diamante U18's Tadeo Mancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Diamante U18 from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Mancio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johan De Bruijn in the 30th minute. Isaias Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Dimitri Denturck kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Hernan Nisio scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Wagemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eliseo Salomon fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Diamante U18's protests and gave Eliseo Salomon a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Salomon hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Gert-Jan Van Haechten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tadeo Mancio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hernan Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Wagemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gert-Jan Van Haechten was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Johan De Bruijn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Nisio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Mats Wagemans made a huge save. Hernan Nisio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Mats Wagemans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Celso Garikoitz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Hernan Nisio made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 66thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Mats Wagemans would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Mats Wagemans was a little too slow when Hernan Nisio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Nisio in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Wagemans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeo Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Vissenakens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Hernan Nisio put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Mats Wagemans. Eliseo Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin De Groote came free, but Tadeo Mancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Royal Antwerp FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Diamante U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
