In the 33rd minute of the match Earle Franklin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mats Wagemans skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute, Burt Brotherton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carsyn Orourke had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Robbin De Groote from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mats Wagemans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Worsley's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Gert-Jan Van Haechten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Worsley in the 73rd minute of play forced Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Mats Wagemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Wagemans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Worsley went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Mats Wagemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Worsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
