ManagerZone Crew were furious when Anderson Schulle was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 13 minutes into the game, one of ManagerZone Crew:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erwin Opdam shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Bart Post showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Linkhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Saleen's Jacques Jansen got a free kick in the 18th minute. Bart Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Linkhorst in the 19th minute of play. Thorsten Dietz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Patrick Armstrong was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erwin Opdam. Andreas Spante charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Spante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Andreas Spante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathieu Trenning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Armstrong having to interfere. A collision led to FC Saleen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Laurens van Dalen hit a great ball. Peter Linkhorst struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bart Post didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManagerZone Crew. Mathieu Trenning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thorbjörn Olerius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Post took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Linkhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when FC Saleen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Trenning didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Peter Linkhorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Post saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Linkhorst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peter Linkhorst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Bart Post made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 51st minute of play forced FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorbjörn Olerius to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Thorbjörn Olerius with Adrian Rosario as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacques Jansen during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Saleen getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jacques Jansen hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Adrian Våleman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bart Post showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Saleen's Mirko Oevermans got a free kick in the 68th minute. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Trenning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip de Visser in the 84th minute of the match. Mirko Oevermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Saleen's Bart Post got control of the ball when Peter Linkhorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bart Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorbjörn Olerius in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Mirko Oevermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ManagerZone Crew players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Saleen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
