Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Moreno in the 31st minute of play. The Vila Mascote FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Vila Mascote FC's Kaká Mota looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kaká Mota succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Lucio Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Mota in the 39th minute of the match. Leo Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Vila Mascote FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Karlo made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Lucio Geofredo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 66 minutes into the game, Vila Mascote FC's João Adolfo Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Geofredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 68th minute, João Adolfo Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucio Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Adolfo Moreno in the 71st minute. Andreas Pirlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. In the 89th minute Natã Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Vila Mascote FC's Kaká Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucio Geofredo. Lucio Geofredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Lucio Geofredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Vila Mascote FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Florida Gulf Coast.
