Cristian Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Geofredo having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Fiz. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jano França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Fiz in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Roberto Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Patadura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Quintan to maneuver through the defense. 1-2 became the score in the 37th minute when Nestor Inko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Oddi in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Cristian Quintan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucio Geofredo. The goal made the score 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Inko to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Dominix. 65 minutes into the match, Patadura FC's Carmine Oddi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Geofredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jano França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Fiz's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Mattei came free, but Lucio Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Cristian Quintan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jason Manson struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Lucio Geofredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patadura FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Quintan in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Geofredo saved Florida Gulf Coast from getting behind. Lucio Geofredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmine Oddi went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Patadura FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
