In the 7thth minute of the game Villafuerte Aramoyana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Mascote FC's zone, Baltasar Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Rosa came out of the goal and Baltasar Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Cantolla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Mota in the 10th minute of play. William Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villafuerte Aramoyana, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Villafuerte Aramoyana made a precise shot to the right of William Rosa. Vila Mascote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Benjamin Cantolla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Mota's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Baiano in the 24th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Cantolla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Cantolla made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Adolfo Moreno in the 27th minute. Villafuerte Aramoyana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Rosa having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 29th minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Mascote FC's zone, Baltasar Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Rosa came out of the goal and Baltasar Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Adolfo Moreno got free with Benjamin Cantolla in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Baltasar Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. William Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Vila Mascote FC got a freekick which was hit by José de Mendonça. If Villafuerte Aramoyana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Rosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Villafuerte Aramoyana's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Benjamin Cantolla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Villafuerte Aramoyana hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Porteño Prowess FC's Fiallos Mellado was substituted for Baltasar Innocenzio. Franklin Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cornelio Cadimo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Vila Mascote FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Urbano Muste scored to the left of an out of position William Rosa, making the score, 0-3. Urbano Muste blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Rosa having to make a save. With a little luck, Vila Mascote FC's William Rosa got control of the ball when Urbano Muste tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Porteño Prowess FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porteño Prowess FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
