In the 3rd minute Miroslav Pernický shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes, Leonardo Dominix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florida Gulf Coast and the FK Řitka players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Leonardo Dominix hit a great ball. Lucio Geofredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Miroslav Pernický. 9 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Los came free, but Lucio Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Pernický in the 10th minute of play. Lucio Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jiří Vejvoda in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, FK Řitka's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Fiz came free, but Eugen Šandor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Florida Gulf Coast from getting a goal against them. Martin Los fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Geofredo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Andreas Pirlo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lucio Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jiří Vejvoda in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestr Kopec. In the 35th minute, Silvestr Kopec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Los in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Geofredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Gordon Nazario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florida Gulf Coast and the FK Řitka players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FK Řitka booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Nazario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Silvestr Kopec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Inko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestr Kopec in the 50th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Florida Gulf Coast defense, Miroslav Pernický kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucio Geofredo. The Florida Gulf Coast fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucio Geofredo should have stopped the shot. After 54 minutes of play, FK Řitka's Miroslav Pernický made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Geofredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucio Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Pernický in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Jiří Vejvoda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Oliveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match FK Řitka got a corner. Florida Gulf Coast's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miroslav Pernický ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luo Yan Hai heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Miroslav Pernický took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Geofredo. Lucio Geofredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Lucio Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Vejvoda in the 70th minute of the match. Gordon Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Šandor having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Fiz. Lucio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Pernický, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Vejvoda in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Roberto Cayo hit a great ball. Nestor Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eugen Šandor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FK Řitka were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
