After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Villafuerte Aramoyana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Gau. Santiago Gau came out of the goal and Claudio Astolfi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute Villafuerte Aramoyana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Villafuerte Aramoyana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porteño Prowess FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 13 minutes into the game, Villafuerte Aramoyana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Santiago Gau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Urtzi Molinuevo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porteño Prowess FC's protests and gave Urtzi Molinuevo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Urtzi Molinuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Cantolla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Ilazki in the 21st minute of play. Villafuerte Aramoyana might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Gau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Villafuerte Aramoyana ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Villafuerte Aramoyana came free, but Santiago Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Celestino Curcio hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Villafuerte Aramoyana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Santxol. With a little luck, Mainumby's Santiago Gau got control of the ball when Villafuerte Aramoyana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Gau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 63 minutes, Villafuerte Aramoyana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villafuerte Aramoyana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Porteño Prowess FC made a substitution. Fiallos Mellado replaced Baltasar Innocenzio. The crowd rose to their feet as Fiallos Mellado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Gau. That made the score 0-5 in the 74 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Dobromir Przybylo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cantolla having to interfere. Porteño Prowess FC made a substitution. Urbano Muste replaced Villafuerte Aramoyana. Urbano Muste in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Gau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 95 minutes, Urbano Muste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Muste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mainumby's Santiago Gau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Mainumby from getting a goal against them. The Mainumby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Porteño Prowess FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
