After a rather tough play, Krivé hnáty's Erik Kniha got a free kick in the 10th minute. Aurel Rojko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thorvald Mansel went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Krivé hnáty's Aurel Rojko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorvald Mansel in the 16th minute of play. Aurel Rojko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorvald Mansel in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match FC Dalin got a corner. Krivé hnáty's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Huỳnh Thuy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Trần Ritchell advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the FC Dalin defense, Viktor Kotian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh. The FC Dalin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh should have stopped the shot. If Nguyễn Chuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Thorvald Mansel came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Dalin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorvald Mansel couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Nguyễn Chuong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Andrej Jamnický sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Huỳnh Thuy managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dalin's supporters rose to their feet, but Huỳnh Thuy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurel Rojko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The wind increased when Pavol Kupec made the kick off in the second half.
