Miroslav Klose showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslav Klose in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Geofredo saved Florida Gulf Coast from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Inko to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucio Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Klose in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Lucio Geofredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florida Gulf Coast's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
