A collision led to Royal Antwerp FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Henri-Patrick Peters hit a great ball. In the 4thth minute of the game Boleslaw Polakowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Antwerp FC's Arnoud Vlimmens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute KKP Spasione Kocury were awarded a corner. Zbyszko Topolski went to the cornerflag to take it. Zbyszko Topolski made a great header on KKP Spasione Kocury's corner, it was just that Royal Antwerp FC's Arnoud Vlimmens managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, KKP Spasione Kocury's Lech Rosen got control of the ball when Martijn Van Huytvenne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Boleslaw Polakowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoud Vlimmens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. KKP Spasione Kocury's Lech Rosen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save KKP Spasione Kocury from getting a goal against them. Juliusz Fink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arnoud Vlimmens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Martijn Van Huytvenne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KKP Spasione Kocury fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when KKP Spasione Kocury's Boleslaw Polakowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Antwerp FC's zone, Grzegorz Fabiszak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoud Vlimmens came out of the goal and Grzegorz Fabiszak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Grzegorz Fabiszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lech Rosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joppe Van Kestbeek in the 33rd minute. After 37 minutes of play, KKP Spasione Kocury's Boleslaw Polakowski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoud Vlimmens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnoud Vlimmens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Fink, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp FC's Octave Boegaert got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Arnoud Vlimmens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Polakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Juliusz Fink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoud Vlimmens. Royal Antwerp FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juliusz Fink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half KKP Spasione Kocury were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boleslaw Polakowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joppe Van Kestbeek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoud Vlimmens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliusz Fink's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. KKP Spasione Kocury's Boleslaw Polakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Boleslaw Polakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KKP Spasione Kocury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boleslaw Polakowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoud Vlimmens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Polakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boleslaw Polakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martijn Van Huytvenne in the 71st minute of play forced KKP Spasione Kocury's goalkeeper Lech Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Zbyszko Topolski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoud Vlimmens skillfully saved the ball. If Juliusz Fink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When KKP Spasione Kocury's Boleslaw Polakowski in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Royal Antwerp FC's goalie prevented a goal. KKP Spasione Kocury's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
