Santiago Gau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredo Arcos kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mainumby's Santiago Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton Vidal in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper William Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Erasto.
