Geronimo Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Prada, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Los Hornos were awarded a corner. Justino Amato went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Los Hornos's Marcu Şuteu to fire away a dangerous shot which Geronimo Argi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Silas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Nordstedt in the 13th minute of play. Los Hornos's Silas de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriel Ba Loua in the 17th minute of play. Ghitã Butuc might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Argi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ghitã Butuc ran back to his position shaking his head. Silas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriel Ba Loua in the 26th minute of play. Silas de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriel Ba Loua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Prophets's zone, Dário Prada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Argi came out of the goal and Dário Prada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silas de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Bălace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Ping Yi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Silas de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Prophets. 39 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Geronimo Argi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Prada. In the 42nd minute, Gene Simmons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, Dark Prophets's Bror Nordstedt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silas de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dário Prada made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goalkeeper Silas de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriel Ba Loua. Dário Prada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Argi having to interfere.
