After 5 played minutes Arsenal de Gols F.C got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Netto. 11 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goal looked a bit too open when Georges-Philippe Puttemas came free, but Geronimo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriel Ba Loua in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Siqueira in the 18th minute of play forced Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Geronimo Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Ping Yi in the 22nd minute of play. Eduard Trifan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. After having played for 25 minutes, Elias Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal de Gols F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Siqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriel Ba Loua in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Claus Ostwald hit a great ball. Dorin Maleș struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Marcelo Gröhe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Prophets. Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Siqueira in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arsenal de Gols F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dorin Maleș was slow to take the kick. During this time Dark Prophets's players had a chance to rest. In the 40th minute, Betão Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bror Nordstedt to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriel Ba Loua in the 52nd minute of play forced Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bror Nordstedt in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Gröhe saved Arsenal de Gols F.C from getting behind. Dark Prophets were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Arsenal de Gols F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dorin Maleș took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dorin Maleș got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Gröhe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Betão Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Arsenal de Gols F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Duarte couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriel Ba Loua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dark Prophets's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorin Maleș in the 62nd minute. Marcelo Gröhe came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Prophets's Adriel Ba Loua. But to his dismay, Adriel Ba Loua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Elias Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal de Gols F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Argi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenal de Gols F.C's João Bertassi was substituted for Jan-Joost Grootjans. After a rather tough play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Claus Ostwald got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dorin Maleș was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Elias Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal de Gols F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Despite being the better team, Dark Prophets failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
