The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Gizon got free with Bernardo Lima in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Acácio de Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Cucao. The Mainumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Cucao should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Cucao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorian Severo went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Adan Gonza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Bernardo Lima made a huge save. If Dorian Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 minutes, Gergely Bollobás made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaberto Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergely Bollobás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Mainumby's Silvano Tiadoro was substituted for Dionisio Acevedo. Mainumby's Dante Sidro was substituted for David Isusko. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gergely Bollobás to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mainumby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao got control of the ball when Furo Furenbrink tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gergely Bollobás kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guaberto Cucao. That made the score 0-9 in the 91 minute of play. In the 94th minute, Armandinho Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eusebio Mercurio hit a great ball. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over S.C. Ferrari could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mainumby throughout the match.
