Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal and Cipriano Lohitzun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Lohitzun in the 98th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Mainumby left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Kcaizer FC.
