The corner led Las Palmas's Gualterio Bakar to fire away a dangerous shot which Wawrzyniec Charamut despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Jenaro got free with René Stam in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Abelardo Felipo hit a great ball. Rogelio Crescencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Aresti struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. René Stam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Boedo Vengo. With his leg René Stam managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when De Boedo Vengo's Placido Jenaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Kazak in the 40th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Paul Gheară. Rogelio Crescencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After taking down the ball on Las Palmas's corner Dawid Cholewa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wawrzyniec Charamut quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute Placido Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rogelio Crescencio came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Las Palmas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Crescencio couldn't finish the play. If Peker Kazak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
