The audience thought a goal was coming when Ysmael Tagle got free with Lázaro Colon in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. Lázaro Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Bladi in the 20th minute of the match. Big Babousa were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Juniors FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelino Gentza took the corner. Svetlozar Karamihov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Isias's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Gentza came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Big Babousa were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Juniors FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelino Gentza took the corner. Angelino Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Colon having to interfere. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Gentza in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Nicanor Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetlozar Karamihov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juniors FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Big Babousa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uriel Isias took the corner. 40 minutes into the game, Hector Bladi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lázaro Colon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Uriel Isias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 47th minute, Uriel Isias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uriel Isias to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Bladi in the 53rd minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysmael Tagle in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Isias. After a defensive mix-up in Juniors FC's zone, Hector Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Colon came out of the goal and Hector Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juniors FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Big Babousa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uriel Isias took the corner. Lázaro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Gentza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Big Babousa from getting a goal against them. Juniors FC's Prospero Furman was substituted for Daniel Loi. Juniors FC made a substitution. Enrique Frasco replaced Uriel Isias. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Svetlozar Karamihov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 73rd minute Angelino Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wlodzimierz Lepper kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Bladi came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Frasco came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Svetlozar Karamihov could save by the left post. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juniors FC's Matias Panpili managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alejandro Cordaryal in the 83 minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Hector Bladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Colon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 87th minute, Enrique Frasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Frasco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Svetlozar Karamihov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alejandro Cordaryal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Big Babousa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
