In the 21st minute Ricardo Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Bochini scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Rocco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tamás Lovas hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Cascadia United's Wang Di Yi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mateo Lalla, made in the 34th minute of the game. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ripa FC's Cirilo Oriche got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gu Chang Peng made a kick off. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 67th minute of play. Leonel Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Chang Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Rocco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 73rd minute. Ripa FC's Romain Declerck was substituted for Placido Pero. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ripa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
