The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Arsenal de Gols F.C booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Gols F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Teixeira came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Rivero came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal de Gols F.C's Ivo Arce. But to his dismay, Ivo Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With 17 minutes on the clock, Krisztián Kormos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Arsenal de Gols F.C made a substitution. Guga de Mendonça replaced Elias Siqueira. 16 minutes into the game, one of Arsenal de Gols F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arsenal de Gols F.C:s Marcelo Gröhe showed great skill when he stopped Desiderio Oliveiro:s penalty. Desiderio Oliveiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, DOROSTOL Ss's Erasmo Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Gröhe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Arce in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Desiderio Oliveiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Gröhe. The goal made the score 1-1. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Erasmo Veiga took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Marcelo Gröhe to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute, Erasmo Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Gröhe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Veiga in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desiderio Oliveiro to make the kick off. Joaquin Oriol hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ivo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Oliveiro in the 66th minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Teobaldo Gonzo got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero got control of the ball when Loco Orange tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Loco Orange recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Rivero. Loco Orange showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
