A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gigel Elenescu hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Wilhelm Nienhaus took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fredric Olsson to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Jarstein saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. A collision led to Sannegården BK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. 柳南昂 hit a great ball. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柳南昂 in the 28th minute of play. Wilhelm Nienhaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Olsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Karl-Erik Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳南昂 in the 34th minute of play. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Sannegården BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Brun to maneuver through the defense. Fredric Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Karl-Erik Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sannegården BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Erik Mattsson to make the kick off. Wilhelm Nienhaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Olsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sannegården BK's zone, Wilhelm Nienhaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Olsson came out of the goal and Wilhelm Nienhaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 59th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 61st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Rune Jarstein successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when 柳南昂 got free with Rune Jarstein in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Tscherner to maneuver through the defense. Sannegården BK made a substitution. Róbson Eger replaced Karl-Erik Mattsson. Sannegården BK's Wade Qadri was substituted for 柳南昂. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Ziemowit Tscherner got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fredric Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wade Qadri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Jarstein having to interfere. Hertha 1969's Rupert Heidingsfelder was substituted for Wilhelm Nienhaus. 91 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wade Qadri.
