Marquinhos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39thth minute of the game Enrique Cassaretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PREZULO FC's Bennvar Trollegaard was substituted for Santiago Eriksen. CD Municipal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martino Armona in the 42nd minute. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after PREZULO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martino Armona took the corner. In the 45th minute Marquinhos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Shi Xi Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Cassaretto made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarbas Quadros, 1-3. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Enrique Cassaretto. Jarbas Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CD Municipal's zone, Isaac Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Forsyth came out of the goal and Isaac Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oalo Dean. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Yunus Mahşer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão de Brito in the 94th minute of the match. Călin Morovan's late challenge caught a PREZULO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Călin Morovan helped the player get up and apologised. Călin Morovan hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Santos in the 97th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The CD Municipal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Municipal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
