The supporters of Botinho FC booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio Andinyach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Botinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Sá. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botinho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martino Armona was slow to take the kick. During this time CD Municipal's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zlatan Molina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hílton Magalhães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tulio Andinyach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hílton Magalhães came out and tried to block the shot, but Tulio Andinyach slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ryota Miyagi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Magalhães was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. There was no doubt that CD Municipal were the better team. CD Municipal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
