Freddie Ljungberg was slow to take the kick. During this time C.F.Fuenlabrada's players had a chance to rest. Freddie Ljungberg made a great header on C.F.Fuenlabrada's corner, it was just that Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when C.F.Fuenlabrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julien Million didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Bianco Cherubini got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Jakue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Torrico having to make a save. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Jakue in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes, C.F.Fuenlabrada's Freddie Ljungberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.F.Fuenlabrada reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bianco Cherubini made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Julien Million who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.F.Fuenlabrada's zone, Isaias Jakue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastián Torrico came out of the goal and Isaias Jakue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.F.Fuenlabrada made a substitution. Edward Västerberg replaced Bianco Cherubini. With a little luck, C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico got control of the ball when Isaias Jakue tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Charly Good replaced Filimon Gamburtsev. Sporting Buceo's Maureen Franco was substituted for Isaias Jakue. Maximo Horquizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Maureen Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Sebastián Torrico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randy Doty in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Topo Riquelme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Horquizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Västerberg in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Horquizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 minutes, Edward Västerberg made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Buceo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
