Botinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hílton Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Esdras's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Fernando Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Nóbrega in the 13th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Botinho FC's Marco Nóbrega made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Cefero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 played minutes Chacarita Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Urbez. 24 minutes into the match, Marco Nóbrega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Cefero. Chacarita Jrs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Nóbrega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With his leg Hílton Magalhães managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Chacarita Jrs's Isaac Esdras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Botinho FC's Cássio Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elder Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Cefero having to interfere. Cássio Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fernando Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Luisito Papo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Nóbrega in the 97th minute of play forced Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Fernando Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chacarita Jrs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Botinho FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
