CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Liberato in the 5th minute of play. Jorge Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Infante. Jorge Infante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Moreno in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Evaristo Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LaZuli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Liberato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 32nd minute of play. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Moreno in the 34th minute of play. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Cassaretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Moreno charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Moreno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, LaZuli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Cassaretto in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jorge Infante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Evaristo Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Enrique Cassaretto made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Infante was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 59 played minutes LaZuli got a freekick which was hit by Isac Quadros. Isac Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Enrique Cassaretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 66th minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Moreno came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, LaZuli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Leão to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iacob Roman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jorge Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 76th minute of the match. Jorge Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Infante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iacob Roman kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Evaristo Moreno sped through CD Municipal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of George Forsyth. Peter Haber hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jorge Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 94th minute of play. CD Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
