Yao Yan Sen was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Buceo's players had a chance to rest. Jorrin Briones might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Horquizar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorrin Briones ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Good, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorrin Briones in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Horquizar saved Sporting Buceo from getting behind.
