Samuca Freitas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. William Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Samuca Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Túlio Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Luz struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Samuca Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irreal Madrid. 44 minutes into the game, Emerson Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRASIL.Sp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irreal Madrid the free kick. In the 45th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 47thth minute of the game Aílton Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BRASIL.Sp's Samuca Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

William Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes in the game, Paulinho Tepedino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edgard Fernandez having to interfere. Irreal Madrid's Edgard Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Irreal Madrid from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Maranhense. Irreal Madrid's Chico Carneiro was substituted for William Couto. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution. Gildo Nogueira replaced José Vítor Marinho. Túlio Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 80 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Vargas. Edgard Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Vargas got free with Edgard Fernandez in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Travassos. Gildo Nogueira came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgard Fernandez could save by the left post. Irreal Madrid's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
