QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 14thth minute of the game Miroslav Klose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was a well-played corner which Aleksey Denisov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Klose came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's Helge Lindgren got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fabiano Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
