Virgílio da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Papadimos having to interfere. Mala FC's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukas Kavalekas in the 12th minute of play. After 16 minutes Highway to Hell's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marian Gejda who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Marian Gejda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Panos Papadimos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Al Zamel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Fragiskos Koboropoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Allan Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Virgílio da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Byrne John in the 32nd minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Virgílio da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mala FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Virgílio da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio da Rocha couldn't finish the play. After 39 played minutes Highway to Hell got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Koubaras. Virgílio da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Panos Papadimos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mala FC. Panos Papadimos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Prado in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Highway to Hell got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Koubaras. When Virgílio da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio da Rocha couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loukas Kavalekas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Habib Al Zamel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Papadimos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgílio da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Mala FC's Ricardo de Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panos Papadimos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mala FC's Erik Fernandez was substituted for Eden Neuville. 67 minutes in the game Stefanos Koubaras did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Byrne John. 68 minutes into the match, Mala FC's Ricardo de Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panos Papadimos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Al Zamel in the 71st minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panos Papadimos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo de Souza's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Makis Kanatidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Allan Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo de Souza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 83rd playminute. Panos Papadimos made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ricardo de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Kanatidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Mala FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mala FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
