In the 33rd minute, Vila Mascote FC's Enéas Santos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sidney Keene. Sidney Keene yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Alves during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vila Mascote FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dráuzio Alves hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enéas Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ronnie Lott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Bittencourt came free, but Sidney Keene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafinha Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Lott in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Ian Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Keene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Julian Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Santos came free, but Sidney Keene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Serafim Lucas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Tommy Cabrera charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Todd Swenson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Rafinha Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Lott, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Mascote FC's zone, Christopher Goss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Godoi came out of the goal and Christopher Goss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Keene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Vila Mascote FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
