In the 7th minute Luiz Eduardo Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Silvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Temperley's Roberto Oliveira threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximino Martino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The SeleSantos FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when SeleSantos FC's Eurico Prestes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Fernan Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Leo Viator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Eduardo Braga was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Belmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Roberto Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SeleSantos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
