Roberto Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Roberto Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maicon Valadares took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Oliveira. Roberto Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 23 minutes, Juninho Sergipano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SeleSantos FC and the Vila Mascote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Sergipano. In the 26th minute, Ian Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amauri Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Edson Trevisan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SeleSantos FC's Roberto Oliveira didn't even have to move. Roberto Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Bittencourt went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 36 played minutes, Vila Mascote FC's Edson Trevisan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roberto Oliveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vila Mascote FC reached it. Maicon Valadares took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Oliveira. Roberto Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Roberto Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráuzio Alves went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Dráuzio Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Roberto Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Vila Mascote FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Eduardo Braga made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Vila Mascote FC's Ian Bittencourt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Bittencourt in the 56th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Ian Bittencourt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Oliveira. Ian Bittencourt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Roberto Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Enéas Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráuzio Alves. Serafim Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Juninho Sergipano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafinha Godoi. Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vila Mascote FC's Rafinha Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo de Moraes in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Ian Bittencourt notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of SeleSantos FC's Roberto Oliveira. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Mascote FC's zone, Luiz Eduardo Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Godoi came out of the goal and Luiz Eduardo Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vila Mascote FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
