Sidney Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Bittencourt in the 9th minute of the match. Gary Gamble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Godoi having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Ian Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Mascote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 18 minutes of play, Vila Mascote FC's Ian Bittencourt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Keene was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vila Mascote FC booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Trotter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Bittencourt scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidney Keene, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafinha Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredo Baez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 40 minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gary Gamble. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Weston Daly during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Weston Daly got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Serafim Lucas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Creekers's Stacey Geiger quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Baez to make the kick off. After 74 played minutes, Vila Mascote FC's Luiz Eduardo Vergílio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sidney Keene came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vila Mascote FC reached it. 77 minutes into the game, Creekers's Stacey Geiger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafinha Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Stacey Geiger was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 81st minute, Stacey Geiger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Ian Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Mascote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Baez in the 95th minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vila Mascote FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
